Our mission is to repurpose our historic rail route between Rangiora and Oxford into a vibrant community asset—a safe, off-road path for walking, cycling, riding and connection. By linking our townships, we are creating a practical asset that supports our local shops and provides a safe, healthy way for Waimakariri residents to get around for years to come.
Springbank Flag Station Site: A rural 'bus stop' for the rails. These sites served the Oxford Branch, where a literal flag was used to signal the driver to stop for passengers or mail.
